Gallery of Contemporary Mosaics, in association with The Chicago Mosaic School, is proud to present Maestros, an exhibition featuring the work of five internationally acclaimed artists working in the field of contemporary mosaic art.
These artists, Verdiano Marzi (France), Dugald MacInes (Scotland), Pamela Irving (Australia), Toyoharu Kii (Japan), and Carolina Zanelli (Italy), have helped to change the landscape and perceptions of mosaic through lifelong investigation and experimentation in their individual practices.
These artists have developed unique approaches to this unique and timeless art form, materially, technically and in content. Their work has inspired students from around the world who have attended Visiting Artist Seminars at The Chicago Mosaic School for the last decade.
